We know at the moment there are so many things that you may be anxious and worried about. We don’t want your sexual health to be one of them. On our website you will find information about, and links to, free and confidential sexual health services.
YPF is a scheme operated as an advice and support service for young people in Redbridge and is managed by Redbridge Youth Service. It was created to ensure sexual health services are easier for young people to find and use. It enables services to take a friendly approach towards young people.
If a service displays the green YPF logo above in the window or door, it means that the place has been checked by us and young people. It also means the staff have been trained to make sure the service they give you is:
Young people can access condoms, via the C-Card at all our YPF approved sites.
Our approved pharmacies also free offer Chlamydia Screening and the EHC, which you may know as the morning after pill. The EHC is a tablet you can take up to 72 hours after unprotected sex, i.e. no contraception used or condom split, to help prevent pregnancy. This is available free from any pharmacy displaying the blue EHC logo, as shown above.
The YPF service is confidential and you can walk in and access services at any site displaying the green YPF logo.
