Traineeships are dedicated to helping 19 – 24 year olds break into the world of work.
By the end of the programme you shall gain the appropriate qualifications and relevant work experience needed to secure an apprenticeship in your chosen field of work.
You shall take courses, so as to gain the knowledge foundation that you require.
Which courses you shall take will depend on your current qualifications.
Once you have completed the courses that you require will then be placed on a work placement in your chosen sectors.
Duraction varies from three to six months in accordance with your particular needs.
Eligility:
This programme is aimed for 19-24 year olds to help them improve their skills, achieve qualification and gain real work experience.
- Must not have any full level 2 qualifications
- Be unemployed and in receipt of benefits.
Learner may require to do learning to equip them with the skills required by the employer and then carry out work experience or do both at the same time.
