Enfield Saheli Mental Health Project

Enfield Saheli offers support and advice to women in Enfield and neighbouring London boroughs. The charity is run by women for women, with special emphasis on support for Asian women of all ethnicity.

Domestic Violence: We offer support, advice, counselling and advocacy for victims of Domestic Violence and Abuse.

Advice, Information (A&I) and Advocacy: The A & I Service provides practical support enabling individuals who are isolated with mental health issues or in emotional distress to make informed choices, to represent themselves to obtain services they may need.

Clients supported with issues such as: Housing and Welfare; Health needs; Making complaints; Obtaining services; Support on ward rounds.

Mental Health: The nature of the work we do, brings us in contact with a lot of women who go through emotional/mental health issues due to a variety of reasons.

The type of clients we see for counselling can range from needing support and guidance with day to day life issues as well as more serious problems such as PTSD, depression, anxiety and personality disorders. 

The services we offer add to the well-being of our clients in several ways: Counselling; Weekly drop-in session; Wellbeing services; Emotional Wellbeing Project; Outreach Service; Health & Wellbeing support group.
