GoodGym

GoodGym helps you get fit by doing good. We’re a group of runners that combines regular exercise with helping our communities.

GoodGym arose out of a frustration with normal gyms being a waste of energy and human potential. There are many neglected tasks and people in our communities that need that energy. We want to bring these things together.

 We get fit by doing good in the following four ways:

  • Community Missions: Run, walk or cycle to help community projects with practical tasks.
  • Group Runs: We run in groups to do physical tasks for community organisations
  • Mission Runs: We run to help older people with one-off tasks they can no longer do alone, such as clearing gardens or changing lightbulbs
  • Coach Runs: We run to make social visits to isolated older people who we call our 'coaches' because they motivate us to keep going.
