The aim of STEM The Violence is the creation of a platform from whereby industries and individuals working in S.T.E.M would use to promote their advancement in their to inspire youth to develop their interest and set them on a path away from knife and gang crime.

What is offered:

  • STEM the Violence is collaborating with Barclays Digital Eagles to provide you with a pathway for youth as well as parents and carers. The aim is to enhance your Digital skills. The digital economy is here. Let’s learn together. The courses are bitesize modules that will help you get to grips with the digital world around us, you can sign up for free using the links below. As you go through the learning you’ll unlock badges and earn points. You can even setup your own mini league for those competitors amongst you.
     
  • We organise talks and workshops from established industry professionals that promote tech to encourage young people to follow in future tech trends
     
  • Whilst the world was left at a standstill during the 2020 Lockdowns, We went on a quest to search for STEM professionals and came across the most extraordinary individuals from all over the world.What is it like to actually work in STEM? Hear firsthand from professionals in all kinds of industries!
     
  • We’ve curated a list of events and online resources from around the globe to help young people take their first steps into STEM
