Synergy Theatre Project works across theatre and the criminal justice system and our projects for young people are delivered by professional artists and assisted by ex-prisoner assistants.

These creative sessions are designed for young people at risk of, or already involved with, offending and explore a range of themes including online bullying, county lines, grooming and violence as well as focusing on future aspirations and goals. All projects end with a final sharing of the material created during the sessions.

If a young person would be interested in doing an online one to one sessions with us, they could chose:

• A Spoken Word course: Work with a poet/rapper to create a piece of poetry or rap for an online performance at the end (or turned into a video of they don’t want to perform)
• An Acting Course: Work with a theatre professional to rehearse a short piece of a play and perform in an online performance at the end.
• A Script Writing Course: Work with a professional writer to create their own script and see it performed back to them by professional actors at the end of the project.
