Attlee Youth & Community Centre

Our service provides:

  • Play for 5 to 14 year olds; up to 16 years for those with additional needs; after school, weekends and school holidays.
  • Generic youth sessions for 13 to 19 year olds; up to 25 years for those with additional needs; after school, weekends and school holidays.
  • Girls and women only sessions for cultural reasons and to enable them to engage in the same activities as their counterparts without the embarrassment of being watched and judged.
  • Volunteering opportunities for those who are 16 years and over:

Young people from the AYCC also have the opportunity to volunteer at the Centre in all areas of its work including the annual Attlee Lecture, this is a very important event in our calendar.

The event gives the young people the opportunity to develop their social and communication skills and to meet with people from a variety of backgrounds.
