Embark on your journey to education or employment with our Get Ahead South London Early Careers Academy.
If you are 16-24 and eager to access support to help you get into employment, onto a college course or into an apprenticeship then this programme is specifically designed for you.
What you will learn...
With this 12 week programme, you’ll have your own personal Early Career Coach to help and guide you to access a wide range of study skills, employability, personal and social development workshops tailored to meet your individual needs. In addition you will also embark on a fully supported journey to explore, identify and apply for the right course or job for your long term career aspirations. You will also be able to take part in work experience activities to help you boost your CV and enhance your course/job applications.
Main benefits:
- Improve your English and maths skills.
- Early Careers Coaches are assigned to ensure you have the support needed to succeed.
- Access to a wide range of skills workshops.
- Work Experience Placements
- Eligible to live/work in England.
- You should be able to attend 3 full days per week
- Aged 16 to 24
- You must be NEET and not have a college/apprenticeship/employment place arranged for a future date.
- For those unemployed, you must have been out of work for a minimum of 4 weeks.
