Southbank Centre - Creative Encounters: December Survival Kit

Wed 11 Dec 2024, 5.30pm

Join Nick Cassenbaum, theatre-maker and sharer of good times, for a playful evening to build your own festive survival kit in this edition of our creative sessions.

Whether you need mantras to get you through Hanukkah with Bubbie, breathing exercises to cope with supermarket playlists or stress toys for under the Christmas table, Creative Encounters has got you covered.

Expect warm and funny stories from Cassenbaum, live music from Josh Middleton, and joyful activities to see us together through December. So whether you love or hate this time of year, are celebrating or not, there’s something for you down in The Clore Ballroom.

Creative Encounters runs fortnightly from December with live music, hands-on, creative challenges, poetry from the National Poetry Library, and plenty of things to make and do while you meet new people. So if you’re new to the capital and feeling a little lost – or just eager to meet people and discover something new, come join us and make the Southbank Centre your home for the evening.
