HYPE (Hounslow Young People Engaged)
HYPE is a free and confidential service for young people in Hounslow who want help and support where the use of alcohol or drugs has impacted their lives.
The service meets young people in a suitable and safe space and where they would feel comfortable and at ease in order to explore their drug/alcohol use.
This could be at school, college or at home.
HYPE offers a non-judgmental approach combined with solution focused interventions which are appropriate to empower young people to explore their issues with drugs and alcohol.
Services offered/Interventions:
- School visits, workshops & assemblies talks
- Training & advice to teachers/tutors
- Assessment , care planning and One to One key working Support
- Groups and visits in the YP hostels and housing provision
- Resilience Building
- Coping with peer pressure
- Work with the Youth Offending Service (YOS)
- Activities & Creative Workshops
How to Refer:
Any health or social care professional can make a referral on your behalf.
You can also self-refer to the service in person or contact us by phone at 01895 488675 or by emailing cnw-tr.hype@nhs.net.
Service Opening Times:
The main service hours are 9.30 to 16.30 however there is scope to arrange evening appointments when deemed necessary.
