Women and Girls Network (WGN) is a free, women-only service that supports women in London who have experienced violence, or are at risk of violence.

We offer counselling, advocacy and advice for women and girls who have experienced gendered violence, including sexual and domestic violence.

Our overall aim is to promote, preserve and restore the mental health and well-being of women and girls, to empower them to make a total and sustainable recovery from their experiences of violence.

Young Women's Corner

To provide a support network that is dedicated to meet young women's needs and unique experiences, with the aim of working together to eliminate violence against women and girls (VAWG).

Do you feel unsafe?

Our Young Women's Service works to create safe and confidential spaces free from violence and abuse.

If you are a young woman under 18, are currently experiencing or are at risk of experiencing any form of violence against women and girls (VAWG), and live, work or study in West London, we have services to support you.

Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) may include, but is not limited to:

  • domestic abuse
  • sexual violence
  • forced marriage
  • 'honour' based violence
  • female genital mutilation
  • child sexual exploitation.

And can be perpetrated by a girlfriend, boyfriend, family member, carer, friend, or other known person.

Looking to access support?

All our services are free and confidential.

We provide:

  • 1-2-1 support - for individual mentoring in our advocacy service that works to empower young women to speak their mind free from judgement.
  • Group-work support - for young women to explore issues of relationships (family and friends), safety, identity and self-reflection outside of your usual group of friends.
  • Therapeutic support- for young women who wish to access counselling services.
