The Positive Youth Engagement Programme (PYEP) supports over 200 young people aged 8-19 from all over Hackney via:

  • After school and evening activities at 1 Poole Road - Sports, drama, arts and creative projects and workshops
  • Primary and Secondary youth development sessions at Frampton Park Youth Club
  • Lions Quest
  • Holiday trips, workshops and outdoor activities
  • Residential weekends out of London
  • Jack Petchey Achievement Awards Scheme
  • HEAT
  • Youth Participation Programme
  • ASDAN
  • accreditations, training and qualifications
  • Opportunities to take part in global projects
  • Organising and planning community peace events

Adult and Youth Volunteer Programme:

The Adult and Youth Volunteer programme is integral to the success of all of the projects we run at Hackney Quest – we couldn’t do any of it without our wonderful volunteers!

Family support programme:

  • Confidential listening service
  • Individual support/signposting
  • Coffee mornings and seniors club
  • Help with form-filling/ letter writing
  • English speaking skills
  • IT skills and support
  • Positive parenting
  • courses and support
  • Cookery and nutrition classes
  • Food parcels for families in need
  • Community events and much more!
  • Community Friends -working in partnership with Elsdale Street Surgery to recruit and support 20 community friends over a one year project to develop confidence, skills and community cohesion
