Green Corridor

Green Corridor is a registered charity and approved Section 41 Specialist Education Provider for young people aged 16-25 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those who are not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET).

We run accredited vocational courses in Horticulture and Catering as well as English and Maths Functional Skills. All learners have access to regular one-to-ones for emotional and wellbeing support alongside our Enrichment Programme and support into employment.

At Green Corridor we put our Young People at the heart of everything we do; they can Dig, Plant and Grow in our plots and polytunnel or Pick, Cook and Serve in our Training Kitchen.

All on a safe and welcoming site, with qualified tutors who have a passion for their craft and most importantly teaching young people.

All our learners have Individualised Learning Plans to guide them on their journey into employment, with fortnightly 1:1 sessions with the youth manager to support them with any concerns regarding their personal development, behaviour or welfare outside of Green Corridor.

Our small group sizes, of mixed abilities, promotes a conclusive environment of respect and trust, often encouraging social skills to blossom.

We have our very own Functional Skills tutor onsite, giving young people the opportunity to complete a Maths and/or English qualification using the Green Corridor to practice their skills in real world situations.
