Centre for ADHD & Autism Support

We support, educate and empower individuals with a diagnosis of ADHD and/or autism, their families, and the community.

Through raising awareness we change perceptions and break down barriers.

For Teens and Young People aged 24 and below:

Youth Project

  • The youth project aims to support young people aged 11-25 with a diagnosis of ADHD and/or autism at critical transition points, such as transferring to High School, college or work.

Young Persons Film Group

  • The young persons film group is for those aged 16-24 years old. The group watch and discuss films (e.g. the storyline, why a character did what they did etc), similar to a book club. This group will also enjoy take aways, trips to the local cinema or a meal out. This helps with meeting new people and developing social skills.

Girls Group

  • The ‘Girls Group’ is a creative and nurturing space for young women. The group will aim to help the girls understand their diagnosis and learn strategies to help them manage. It might be a topic for discussion, such as creating/maintaining friendships or having an external speaker to give hints and tips on hair/makeup, or clothes.

We also offer a variety of training courses:

  • Our unique 'Professional Training' course, Empowering Ourselves to Be Heard, that accesses Adults with Autism to give you specific and tailored training for your situation

  • Our 'Workshops' that are presented by leaders in ADHD and Autism tailored to our clients feedback.

  • The 'Regular Courses' designed for parents and carers and young people living with ADHD and or Autism.
